Terms
Who runs this
ToastHosting rents out game servers. It's run by one person, not a big company. Questions and problems: write to Support in the panel.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account and your servers.
- You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent's OK.
- One person, one account. Don't share it or sell it.
Prices and payments
- A server costs 11 credits an hour while it's online (more with extra memory switched on), and 3 credits a day while it is installed and ready to start (a new server's first 3 days cost nothing a day). A server that is put away costs nothing a day; when a day can't be paid, a stopped server is put away (its worlds, settings, mods and uploads stay).
- You buy credits in packs, paid through Stripe. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay (plus sales tax where it applies).
- Credits last 60 days from the day you get them, and the oldest are used first. You get a reminder a week before any run out. They have no cash value and can't be moved to another account. A new account's first hour is free: taken once, at its first start.
- Prices can change. Credits you already have keep their value until they run out.
Refunds
- Unused credits from a pack can be refunded within 14 days of buying it: write to Support.
- If a server is down because of ToastHosting, you get credits back for the lost time.
- Credits used on a server that was running aren't refunded.
Your worlds
Your worlds and files are yours. Servers are backed up every night and before updates, but keep your own copy of anything you can't lose: ToastHosting isn't liable for lost data.
If your account has had no hours for 15 days, the game's own files are removed from your stopped servers to save space. Your worlds, settings, mods and uploads stay where they are, and the game downloads itself again the next time you start. You always get a message at least three days before.
Availability
ToastHosting aims to keep servers running around the clock but can't promise it: the machine needs maintenance now and then (announced on the status page when planned), and the internet or the hardware can fail.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time under Account. ToastHosting can stop a server or close an account that breaks these terms or the fair use policy; unused credits of an account closed for that aren't refunded.
Changes
These terms can change. You'll be told on the site before a big change applies.
