BeamMP (BeamNG.drive) server settings explained
All 11 settings a BeamMP (BeamNG.drive) server has on ToastHosting, as its Settings page shows them: what each one does, its default, and the values it takes. Where a setting has a name in the game's own configuration file, that name is shown next to it.
Server
Server name
The name players see in the server list.
BeamMP AuthKey
Every BeamMP server needs one, and it won't start without it. It's free: sign in at https://keymaster.beammp.com with Discord, open Keys, press the green +, give it this server's name and copy the key here. Keep it secret like a password; one key runs one server at a time.
Private (not in the public server list)
On: only people you give the address to can join. Off: anyone can find the server in BeamMP's list.
How many players
The most players on the server at once.
Cars per player
How many cars each player may have out at once. Every car is sent to every player, so more cars mean more work for the server.
